For cars so equipped, in the event of a loss of grip, the Lincoln MKZ's intelligent all-wheel drive system quickly and seamlessly delivers the right amount of power to the wheels with the most traction to enhance grip. The Lincoln MKZ comes loaded with standard features including power heated and cooled leather front seats with memory, a rear parking aid, steering wheel audio and cruise controls, heated mirrors, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system and dual-zone climate control. Popular options include adaptive HID headlights, THX audio system, rain sensing wipers, a back-up camera, a moonroof, a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and remote start. A Sport Appearance Package adds a sport-tuned suspension, aluminum interior trim, special floor mats and 18-inch alloy wheels. An optional Navigation Package includes voice-activated navigation, while an in-dash DVD/CD/MP3 player, an internal hard disk, a 10GB music jukebox, a rear view camera and BLIS. The Lincoln MKZ has been redesigned for 2010, with a bold look to carry the midsize sedan forward. This includes revised front and rear ends and a more aggressive grille. The interior has been made more contemporary as well, with ample use of wood and leather, and the instruments have been restyled. A new 6-speed automatic with SelectShift manual mode allows for a sportier drive and improves the MKZ's overall performance. Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) is now available.
